Does organic mean a food is healthy?
No. Organic simply refers to how a crop was grown or how an animal was raised. There are many organic products that are not healthy. For example, these products may be high in calories, sugar, fat, trans fat or all of those.
What does it mean when it says chicken or eggs are raised without antibiotics?
It means the animal did not receive any antibiotics during the course of its lifetime. The USDA also approves the use of âno antibiotics administeredâ or âraised without antibiotics,â but does not approve of the term âantibiotic free.â The USDA prohibits the use of hormones in poultry, hogs, veal calves or exotic, non-amenable species.

Every item will have an âExpiration Dateâ clearly labeled on the package. We recommend eating your food within 4 days of receiving.

Microwave: If package comes in a plastic box, loosen plastic lid and heat on high for 60-90 seconds (some microwaves vary) or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees and serve. Â Please make certain to remove any smaller packaging inside, as these are not microwavable. (If product comes in a paper box or bag, the meat container will be microwavable.)
Oven: For Family Meals (with gold liners), preheat oven to 350 degrees, remove and recycle lid as these are not oven or microwave safe, cover with aluminum foil, heat for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees and serve.
